Starting the Garden

We have been working on a garden at every house, but at this house we have had some “Bambi” problems and our attempts at building a barrier around our growing plants, have been fruitless. This year we will be getting a high tunnel and which should prevent even our flying dear from teleporting. We all have had fun pitching in. Stephen has been having fun using the tractor to put compost in the garden. There has been a bit of trouble trying to convince the kids to help weed. This year Xander and McKayla will gain experience on how to manage a business from starting seeds to creating a website. So buying from the shop helps them learn while also having a summer job. They both are helping to sell produce and hopefully in the near future we will be selling eggs.
